We partner with an Artisan Business that works with Artisans living in the rural regions of Vietnam. Before beginning work with our Partner Business, many of these Artisans struggled to earn a living through rice farming, where wages are unpredictable and often too low to support a family on. Today, these Artisans are earning fair incomes they can rely on while preserving the craft heritage of their villages.
Our water buffalo horn pieces begin as gigantic water buffalo horns sourced from animals that have died of natural causes. Water buffalo have long been cherished in Vietnamese culture because of their important role in rice farming. By utilizing the buffalo’s horns, the Artisans honor the animal while creating beautiful and modern accessories.
We partner with an Artisan group that has been carving intricate marble crafts for generations. Once reserved for use in temples and the homes of nobles, today this timeless material adorns some of our most loved accessories.
Our Vietnamese styles are a testament to the beauty of collaboration. By partnering with villages specializing in other crafts, our metalworking partners are elevating their art by incorporating marble, horn, and other materials into their handcrafted metallic accessories.
